Our quicklime and hydrated lime makes optimal material mixes possible, such as those for concrete and asphalt. As subgrade, our KFN lime product nekasol® 2 takes care of stability and longevity in the construction of highways and roads. It also renders most of excavating and the delivery of subgrade material unnecessary. KFN lime is also an indispensable ingredient of surface courses: nekapur® 2 enhances the binding between bitumen and gravel in pavements.

Sustainable construction with lime
KFN lime used as a binding agent is an indispensable ingredient in the production of construction material such as sand-lime bricks. Sand-lime bricks made from our high-quality fine white quicklime product nekafin® 2 lets builders construct buildings that are very well insulated and a healthy indoor climate. Additionally, KFN hydrated limes are the basis of lime mortars and lime plasters. They are used for insulation, for surface designs, as screed or in tiling. When restoring historic buildings and in the ecological building area, traditional wood-burnt marble slaked lime is indispensable.
